Supreme is a high quality cellulosic insulation used in new construction or retrofit markets. Supreme is designed to be blown dry or with moisture added into attics or walls. Supreme contains boric acid as the fire retardant and passes both critical radiant flux and smoldering combustion tests. Supreme meets the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), 16CFR1209, 1404 and ASTM C739. Supreme is a Class 1 or Class A building material based on tests according to ASTM E84. We feel that the 100% boric acid formulation will increase the insect resistance and ammonia will not be released when moisture and heat are present. |
